Dr. Shreepriya Mangalgi serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine and clinical nephrologist in the Karl D. Nolph, MD Division of Nephrology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, where she also runs a dedicated cardiorenal clinic. She completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency training in India, followed by nephrology fellowship training in India, Canada, and the United States, with advanced fellowship emphasis in home dialysis at the University of Ottawa.
Her academic interests center on home dialysis—particularly peritoneal dialysis, pregnancy and reproductive health in chronic kidney disease, and cardio-kidney-metabolic syndrome, with a specific focus on medication safety. She has a background in medical law and ethics and maintains a growing interest in healthcare economics and public policy, especially as they relate to kidney disease.
Dr. Mangalgi was a member of the Women in Nephrology Fellow School of Leadership Education (FSLE) Class of 2025 and will serve as a WIN Councilor for the 2026–2028 term. She is committed to mentorship, leadership development, and advancing equitable access to kidney care.
